hello!! this will be the most low effort and unprofessional page on this site. sorry about that.

as previously mentioned, my name's andy. i'm currently in my first year of a data science degree, but i don't like data science and plan on going into information and library science once i transfer to a state college. i also plan on eventually making video games as a hobby, and already have experience with writing and design (but, uh, not coding, as clear from this website). i mostly practice art as a hobby, and have been working on it slowly for most of my life.

contrary to apparently popular belief (?) i do not actually like retro gaming at all. i can count the amount of pre-2000 games i like on one hand ^^; i am a big fan of 2000-10s games, though, but i'll occasionally go for new releases. i refuse to associate with those guys who complain about no modern games being "REAL video games", i only like games that are trashy or niche. also refuse to associate with those guys who think they're sooo cool for exclusively playing indie games 5 people have ever heard of. my favorite game i'll mention here is pokémon mystery dungeon: explorers of sky. i also really like trying out romhacks and mods, which is another reason why i like eos! :)

my favorite character that i'll mention here is my best friend sonic the hedgehog. you probably already figured that one out

as far as stuff that isn't a video game goes, uh... my favorite webcomic is laika's comet by willow woods, and my favorite manga is dungeon meshi by ryōko kui. i don't watch tv very often, but i liked the good place and puella magi madoka magica.

i felt like it was relevant to mention all of the things i like because they have a lot of influence on what i create, even if i don't intend for them to. the art and writing that actually reflect these influences aren't seen here, though, so you won't see that. i also just like mentioning what i like, which is why i actually put this here.
